The flognarde is the same pastry as for a clafoutis, but with beautiful Limousin PDO golden apples, of course! And as always, there are different recipes for different families.
Here's a traditional recipe that has been handed down from mother to daughter for generations... Enjoy!

  • Cooking time duration : 30 min

Ingredients for 6 people :

  • 5 Limousin apples (very important!)

  1. Butter a mould beforehand
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C

  4. Add the sugar and mix
  5. Stir in the milk to obtain a homogeneous mixture
  6. Add the flour and mix
  7. Peel and slice (or dice) the apples
  8. Spread the apples over the bottom of the dish

Our tips?

You can replace the apples with other fruits (pears, plums, apricots.... )
