La Conserverie: Exhibition: October, Solidarity Month

Pink October, Blue Week and Talents from EPDA du Glandier.

Through a range of photos, this exhibition reflects the struggle of some people with cancer and the commitment of others to this cause, as well as paying tribute to our senior citizens and the links between generations.

The photos will be accompanied by paintings created by residents of the EPDA du Glandier, which cares for adults with intellectual disabilities and elderly people losing their independence.

Pink October: Since 1985, this annual publicity campaign has been raising awareness of breast cancer screening and raising funds for research.

Semaine bleue: Since 1951, the first week in October has been dedicated to the "national week for the elderly and retired".
