Breeding ground for the stud's Anglo-Arab and Thoroughbred Arab horses, the Chignac estate is the nursery for Pompadour.
During the visit, you will discover the secrets of horse selection and meet the mares and their foals.

Visit to the Saint-Blaise chapel

Established as a collegiate church in the early 16th century by Geoffroy de Pompadour, bishop of Le Puy, St Blaise's chapel is the parish church of the Pays de Pompadour.
Inside, it houses a 300m2 monumental painting created by André Brasilier at the beginning of the 21st century.

Visit to the Tree House

A genuine eco-museum based around the forest and its inhabitants, the tour focuses on the environment, old trades and cider-making.

Visit to the Chamberet cider factory

Since 2010, AVEHC has been making apple juice, cider and cider vinegar from the Monédières region. The cider house is made up of a dozen farmers who are keen to re-introduce an old, local variety of apple, "la Blandurette", while ensuring that it is processed.

Let yourself be guided through the narrow streets, between the remains of fortifications, rivers and listed buildings, and you'll travel back to distant times: from the Celtic origins of the village to the powerful lords of Comborn and Pompadour.

Discover the work of a family of passionate breeders: Christian, Marie and their son Mathieu will give you a warm welcome and show you around their duck farm.
At the end of the tour, enjoy a tasting of farm produce.
