Saint-Pardoux church in Affieux

Dedicated to St Pardoux, it has recently been restored. Dating back to the 12th century, all that remains of this period is the bay in front of the sanctuary, with its columns with bare capitals. It was modified in the 14th, 15th and 19th centuries. Its Limousin-style doorway is decorated with a capital frieze extending onto the wall with human masks and an animal. Statues of St Pardoux and St Gilles. In the square, a granite tombstone is carved with a recumbent figure, hands clasped to the chest.
